About Us
Benefit of TV Graphics
The owners of TV Graphics are involved in the business every day, so attention to detail and customer service are our number-one priorities. We have a 96-percent customer retention rate, as we believe this demonstrates that our customers place high value on the service TV Graphics provide.
At TV Graphics, we pride ourselves in responding to every customer request faster than any other company in the market place. Many of our customers call for a change to a specific interface, drop-down, animation, or logo, and our team of programmers can make the changes and have it live in our system within 24 hours. This level of customer service is what separates TV Graphics from other supplies.
Our operators all have years of experience inside a live television production truck. Your production team will have an operator on their back bench that will add to the production team instead of an operator who can only run their piece of hardware. This experience will give the producer and director the confidence to call for real time graphics throughout the show.
The Owners
Terry Jopplin and Dan Murphy are the sole owners for TV Graphics. Terry and Dan developed a business relationship back in the early 1990’s working on autoracing and motocycle racing programs together. With their vast experience in the television industry, they launched TV Graphics in 1999 to supply real-time scoring for auto racing and motorcycle racing for national networks. Together Dan and Terry have grown the company to offer many other products related to television graphics including bug boxes, customized software, and virtual systems.
Terry Jopplin
Terry Jopplin started his career in the television industry as a cameraman back in 1973. He went on to work in almost every position in a television production, from the tape operator to the director. Terry developed a vast knowledge of how every piece of equipment in a television truck is operated. He used this knowledge to become one of the most-respected tech managers in the industry. As the tech manager, Terry made everything come together which included helicopters, in car cameras, multiple productions units, telemetry, real-time scoring and many other production elements.
Terry combined his experience as tech manager with his software experience to help develop products that he knew would help producers deliver better live shows through graphics enhancements.
Dan Murphy
Dan Murphy started his career selling advertising for First Auto Sports Television (FAST) a small production company supplying programming to regional sports networks. He then went on to help launch the Speedvision Network with Roger Werner that later became Speed Channel when it was purchased by FOX. At Speed, Dan served in a variety of capacities, including advertising sales, executive producer and event manager of the World Superbike race at Laguna Seca.
